'80s teen pop singer Debbie Gibson, who was just featured in Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' video, is now adding teen mentor to her resume. The 'Foolish Beat' hitmaker, who holds the record as the youngest person to write, record and perform a No. 1 single, is shedding her wisdom upon stars like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift in the web series 'What Would Debbie Do?'

Gibson has some a firm but brief reminder for Bieber. Although he is a celebrity involved in a highly-publicized relationship, Gibson thinks he needs to realize that he is still just a kid. "What are you doing vacationing on a yacht with your girlfriend when at 17 or 18 years old anyway?!" Gibson says.

The singer also has some motherly words for Miley Cyrus, who has been trying on the semi-bad girl role for size in the past few years. Gibson says, "Don't be in a hurry to grow up. Honestly, there's a gazillion years to be an adult. I was hanging onto my childhood for dear life. I was wearing high top sneakers with my dresses, I was like, 'Ya know what? There's gonna be plenty of years to wear high heels.'"

Gibson also comments on Selena Gomez's recent PDA with Bieber, saying, "The more private you can keep your personal life the better." This piece of advice is perhaps some of the most worthwhile she gives, since Gibson has struggled with stalkers in the past. She also comments on Taylor Swift's perfume deal, kind of dissing the fact that so many young entertainers get these kinds of deals so quickly.

Although we're not sure the real motives behind Gibson's unwarranted advice for these teen celebrities, we can't help but think this is Gibson's attempt to promote herself to a younger crowd just in time for her summer tour with Tiffany.
