UPDATE (11/4): #ElevenIsBack.

Cast member Finn Wolfhard (who plays Mike Wheeler) just posted a photo of the Stranger Things cast in production mode for Season 2 — and yes, Millie's sitting in the middle. Check it out:

ORIGINAL POST: As anyone who went out this Halloween weekend to find a cavalcade of Eleven and Barb costumes, Netflix's Stranger Things remains one of the biggest pop culture obsessions of 2016. But while series masterminds the Duffer Brothers and producer Shawn Levy already spilled the beans on some new characters coming in Season 2, fans hadn't received confirmation that breakout star Millie Bobby Brown, who played super-powered young heroine Eleven, would be returning. Good news: TVLine has confirmed that you'll see Eleven again next season.

It's not immediately clear whether Brown will be a regular cast member in Season 2, or put in recurring appearances (spoiler alert: When we last saw Eleven at Season 1's end, she'd presumably given her life to save Mike and his friends from the monster, and was best-case-scenario trapped in the Upside Down, worst case no-longer-existent). Netflix has yet to officially confirm the news, though TVLine insists its sources are reputable and the 12-year-old actress will definitely be back.

Stranger Things' Season 2 plot will pick up a year after the events of Season 1, Matt Duffer told IGN in August. The creators' decision was partially based on the fact that half of their cast is currently trudging through puberty.

"Yeah, you have to do the Harry Potter thing. You have to jump a year," Duffer said. "Because like Gaten [Matarazzo], his voice has already dropped quite a bit, to the point where we couldn’t even do ADR with him. We had to pitch it way up. It’s dropped. He’s grown. As much as I would love to have it be Christmas right after that, it’s just not feasible, so we’re going to skip a year."

We'll also likely find out what's happening with those bugs Will's been coughing up since his rescue from the Upside Down: "is Will okay? The short answer being no," Duffer told IGN.

Here's hoping to see lots of Eleven, and her iconic shaved head, in Season 2.
