Now that Super Bowl XLV is behind us, PopCrush has what you've really been waiting for -- a play-by-play recap of 'Glee': 'The Sue Sylvester Shuffle.'

In order to battle the big bowl, Season 2, Episode 11 kicked off with a big bang. The cheerleading McKinley High Cheerios sported blue wigs while delivering a literally flaming performance of Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' -- complete with bicycle tricks and breasts on fire. Still, Sue is not impressed by their performance, which she calls "the most boring routine I have ever witnessed."

Trouble is still stirring between the football team and the glee club, so when the sports stars prepare for their big championship game, Beiste and Will team up to make the clubs join forces -- the football team officially becoming a part of the losers club for a week! In order to prove their worth as a cool club (and to make Finn jealous), Rachel cons Puck into a duet and the two give the sports studs a peek of how 'Glee' operates with Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now,' as Coach Beiste sings along.

Everyone knows you can't battle the super bowl without commercials -- and the 'Glee' stars make their commercial debut in support of the Chevy Cruze Eco -- with Rachel leading the jingle.

Principal Figgins has some obvious concerns about Sue's recent actions, such as her desire to fire a cheerleader out of a cannon. Sue's behavior also includes a rage of destruction through Emma's office, because according to the coach, "Sue Sylvester is done playing nice." She pulls the Cheerios from the halftime show, and as a result the football team must perform with the glee club. Will announces that they'll stand in mid-game with the "Super Bowl of pop anthems." While rehearsing for their big halftime debut, the football boys and 'Glee' guys lay down a lively auditorium performance of the Zombies' 'She's Not There' -- dressed as actual zombies.

Though he doesn't make much of an appearance in the episode, Kurt gets a big moment to shine when we check in on what he and the Warblers are up to over at Dalton Academy. Blaine leads the all-boys club in a smashing performance of 'Bills, Bills, Bills' (Destiny's Child), which lets 'Glee' viewers in on a little secret: New Directions will face some big competition at Regionals in New York City.

The football buffs bail on 'Glee' after the hockey teams pokes fun of them. (Um ... When did McKinley High get a hockey team?) So with the team short a few players, the ladies of 'Glee' decide to fill in so that they can play the championship game. Quinn, Brittany and Santana quit Cheerios in order to help out their glee club -- and to avoid shooting Brittany out of the death cannon.

When it's time to hit the field for the big showdown, and as promised, the girls lay down on their faces defenseless. The football stars come to their senses and jump on the field for the much-anticipated halftime show: Asuper-gleeked ensemble performance mash-up of the King of Pop's 'Thriller' (Michael Jackson) with the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs' 'Heads Will Roll' -- complete with full 'Thriller' costumes a-la 1983.

Season 2, Episode 11, the 'The Sue Sylvester Shuffle' episode of 'Glee,' was unquestionably football-inspired, and even had Katie Couric guest-starring, but it didn't lack any of the 'Glee' luster that pulls fans to Fox week after week. Tune in Tuesday as PopCrush brings you an immediate recap of 'Silly Love Songs.'
