Gwen Stefani Discovered Gavin Rossdale’s Infidelity Via iCloud Sexts
Back in 2014, Apple's iCloud storage system was involved in over two dozen celebrities' nude photos being leaked, according to a tally populated by Intentional Business Times.
Now iCloud has struck again, this time in the form of incriminating info regarding the mysterious, unexpected, and disappointing dissolution of Gwen Stefani's 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale. Although rumors of Rossdale's infidelity abounded after Stefani filed for divorce back in August, nothing was ever confirmed...until now, if a new tabloid report is to be believed.
Jezebel says that Stefani gained some important intel from what the site calls an "accidental iCloud sync" that revealed sexts between Rossdale and their family's longtime nanny Mindy Mann. According to US Weekly, Stefani first discovered Rossdale's three-year affair with Mann back in February while she was using the family's iPad, which was apparently linked to Rossdale's phone. What she found was a series of explicit messages between Rossdale and Mann, which included nude photos of Mann and the pair's plans to rendezvous for sex.
A family source told US Weekly that "one of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen."
The couple's divorce was finalized back in October, and the couple previously released a statement about how their split would not affect their three children (Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months): “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment." The couple also requested privacy from the media during the divorce proceedings.
Despite this recent confirmation of Rossdale's infidelity, longtime fans of Stefani's will be able to breathe a small sigh of relief that they, too, have received some closure in the matter. It also helps that Stefani is apparently now feeling more inspired than ever when it comes to music, proving that she's no "broken-hearted detective."
