Hilary Duff Celebrated the Fourth of July With a Black Eye

Like most of America, Hilary Duff had a "Sparks"-filled Fourth of July celebrating in Malibu, California. Unfortunately, she spent most of the day sporting a black eye alongside her bikini, baby bump and red, white and blue lei.

The expectant mom revealed in an Instagram Story that the accidental shiner was caused by her six-year-old son, Luca.

"Lukie gave me a pretty sweet black eye for the fourth!" she captioned a photo of the injury. "It was an accident but sure hurt like a muther."

Despite the black eye, the Younger actress was in good spirits as she spent the day with her beau and future baby daddy, Matthew Koma, who took a sweet photo of the pair smooching.

On June 8, Duff announced she and Koma are expecting their first child together, a daughter due sometime this year.

"Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited," she wrote on Instagram.
