Go Behind the Scenes of Ivy Levan’s ‘Biscuit’ Video [EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE]

After watching Ivy Levan's artistic "Biscuit" video, we immediately wanted to know more about the inspiration behind it. Luckily, there's behind-the-scenes footage -- and PopCrush is premiering it right here!

First things first: What is a biscuit? No worries, Ivy is here to explain. "The biscuit idea came from the Southern saying 'Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit,'" she explains in the video, adding, "For me, it's a larger than life attitude, a sense of confidence with keeping a sense of humor -- along with a dash of tongue-in-cheek."

"Larger than life" definitely describes the "Biscuit" video, which features Ivy rocking some pretty dramatic looks. Yep, in just one video she rocks blond, red and black hair. Whew! We're the first to say how impressed we are because she effortlessly pulls off each look.

"To define Ivy's style is kind of difficult, because she's a style within her own," stylist Brett Alan Nelson says. "There's no way to explain it other than 'Ivy Levan.' I don't think there's anyone out there that is like Ivy. There's a little bit of sparkle, there's a little bit of grunge, there's a lot of vampiness. It's just sleek and sexy and chic."

And, of course, what video titled "Biscuit" would be complete without, well, a biscuit? One of the coolest parts of this behind-the-scenes video is seeing how Beau Biscuit was incorporated into the final product. (Spoiler: It's kind of awesome.)
