Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night (January 10) for her role in Joy. She beat out Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Amy Schumer (Trainwreck), Lily Tomlin (Grandma), Maggie Smith (The Lady in the Van).
