Jennifer Lopez Named PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2011

2011 is the year of Jennifer Lopez. She's rebounded with her new gig as 'American Idol' judge, a smash hit dance jam in the form of 'On the Floor,' a new album 'Love?' due out May 3, and a L’Oreal spokeswoman contract. She is capping off an already banner 2011 by being named PEOPLE's Most Beautiful Woman!

In her accompanying cover story -- which hits stands this Friday -- the normally glamazon Lopez says she prefers those moments at home when she can be makeup free with her husband Marc Anthony and their twins, Max and Emme, 3. "That's when I'm my happiest," Lopez, who is very much a natural beauty, confesses. "Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It's so much better."

J. Lo did say that Emme is already showing signs of being her mother’s daughter. "She is very girly-girl, just like me since I was very little. She loves for me to paint her nails," Lopez admits. "She lays out her clothes on the floor like I do with my stylist and she's like, 'This matches very good!'"

Emme's twin brother also wants in on the nail polish action, but for very different reasons. "He wants to paint his nails too. Because for him, it's just paint. He's like, 'I want the blue!'" Lopez laughs. "Then Marc is like, 'Why are Max's nails painted?!' But he won't sit still so it's only like two nails."

Lopez, 41, also wanted to make it clear that being a glamour-puss -- which often requires an army of stylists and intense workout and preparation routines -- is no walk in the park. "I don't want anybody thinking it's easy," she says. "It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend."
