Jeremy Renner’s Wife Files For Divorce After Less Than a Year of Marriage

Sad news for Jeremy Renner: His wife, model-actress Sonni Pacheco, has filed for divorce from the 'Hurt Locker' actor less than a year after marrying him.

According to TMZ, Sonni is citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, and states their date of separation as Nov. 29.

The couple have a one-and-a-half year old daughter, Ava Berlin, together, and Sonni is requesting physical custody of her, in addition to child support from Jeremy as well as for him to pay her moving expenses and her rent. She is also requesting Jeremy return her passport, social security card and birth certificate.

Sonni’s divorce documents also state that she wants the prenuptial agreement she signed when she married Jeremy to be voided, saying it was based on "fraud." There are no further details as to what she means by fraud so far.

Although the couple married in a private ceremony in January, they were able to keep news of their marriage under wraps for nearly nine months, before announcing that they had married in September.
