John Mayer's 'Battle Studies' grabbed the 2011 Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at this afternoon's pre-telecast ceremony.

The 2009 follow-up to Mayer's 'Continuum' battled Widespread Panic's 'Dirty Side Down' and Ray LaMontagne's 'God Willin' & The Creek Don't Rise,' among others, for the engineering award.
