Julia Michaels appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden to perform her latest, "Uh Huh," capping off quite a week for the superstar songwriter as she sets out to conquer the stage herself. Corden's audience got a nice treat: an intimate performance where they could stand mere feet from the singer and band while they played the upbeat track, nodding their heads in rhythm and helping out with the chorus.

Michaels also just released her first mini album, the seven-track Nervous System, and unveiled the video for "Uh Huh." Later this summer, she'll attend the MTV VMAs, where she's nominated for Best New Artist.

As we said, it's been quite a week. Check out the show:

And last, on The Tonight Show former NFL star and current morning-show host Michael Strahan told Jimmy Fallon a funny, revealing story about what it's like to be a rookie in the NFL. Apparently the veterans sometimes make the new guys sing in front of the rest of the team. Strahan chose to demonstrate the song he chose when he had to do it: "Can You Stand the Rain" by New Edition.

And it's not bad! Check it out:
