Justin Bieber's musical career has, sadly, been overshadowed by some of his more colorful antics over the past few years. But 2015 marked the beginning of a new start for the "Beauty and a Beat" singer, one in which he provided a wealth of apologies for his multiple past wrongdoings and missteps in an attempt to move forward and move beyond the incidents that made him constant tabloid fodder.

With that in mind, and as a sort of precursor to his upcoming studio album Purpose (which is out on November 13), we decided to compile some of Justin's best work as a vocalist into a single video for your viewing (and listening!) pleasure -- because that's why he's famous in the first place, right?

Rather than stick with one era, we chose examples of Justin's work that span the length of his career. From his 2011 Sao Paulo concert to his more recent stint on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he played “What Do You Mean?” to his run-heavy Wango Tango performance -- it was tough to narrow it down to just a handful of times Justin exhibited true vocal expertise, but we managed to get it done.

So rather than recount the arrests, embarrassing outbursts and countless other unflattering stories the press has run with over the past few years, we'll let Justin's vocals speak (sing?) for themselves. Watch the video above and let us know if we missed any key Bieber moments that deserve to be highlighted.
