One Direction have Bieber Fever, and Justin Bieber is just as crazy for 1D. The Canadian crooner is reportedly down to collaborate with the U.K. heartthrobs if they so desire.

Biebs told BBC Radio 2 (quotes via Hollywood Life) that the 'One Thing' singers are "really talented" and said, “If they wanted me on their album, they just have to ask.” Get on that, 1D! Bieber also said he hung out with the band recently. “They’re my boys. They came over to my house," he said. "We hung out, we talked. I have a pool so we all went in the pool. Just chilled out.” That noise you just heard was the sound of about a billion teenage girls' jaws hitting the floor at the thought of all those boys shirtless and splashing around.

Reports of a collaboration first surfaced in April when One Direction tweeted about hanging out in the studio with Biebs. It turns out, that's exactly what they were doing: hanging out. They weren't recording!

However, Bieber's willingness echoes a similar sentiment from Scooter Braun, Justin's manager and longtime friend. Braun replied to a fan's inquiry about Bieber and One Direction singing together by saying, “very possible. he likes them and thinks they are good dudes. all people of that generation should be there to help EACHOTHER.”

While neither needs the help of the other, it would still be an amazing -- and likely glass-shattering-scream-worthy -- project to undertake.
