Rumors have been circulating online that Justin Bieber was reportedly questioned by police while in Rome earlier today (April 29) in his hotel room, and it looks like those rumors might be true.

According to E! News, a source says that while Justin was, indeed, questioned, it wasn't anything too serious. The source said, "He was questioned but wasn't as serious as they made it seem." Meanwhile, Justin took it upon himself to clear up the rumors that he was arrested and detained by posting on Twitter. He wrote, "Rumors rumors rumors. All good. Comes with the job. Enjoying Italy and appreciate all the kind people here. Thank you. Great food."

Justin was reportedly questioned in conjunction with an incident that took place in Argentina between one of his bodyguards and a photographer. The photographer claims Justin ordered his bodyguard to attack him outside of a Bueno Aires nightclub.

To his credit, Justin has made an attempt to right his past wrongs (aka the countless legal trouble the "Baby" singer has gotten himself into over the past few years) via an apology tour. And he seems to want to truly change the public's perception of him. In an interview with UK magazine Hero, he said (quote via PEOPLE), "I hope people felt the sincerity in my apologies. There are a lot of things that have happened in the last couple years that I'm not proud of and I feel a responsibility to my fans and to the public who believe in me to make it right … it was honest."
