The Staples Center is usually bustling with people, namely passionate and loud L.A. Lakers fans. It's also often crawling with paparazzi, since so many celebs are often courtside, taking in some hoops action. It's not exactly the most romantic setting for a date, though. However, singer Justin Bieber surprised his lady love Selena Gomez with a date at the Staples Center, complete with a screening of 'Titanic,' for just the two of them!

That's right. The Biebs arranged for he and Gomez to have the whole place to themselves. Word is that The Biebs didn't even have to pay a fee to take over the venue for the evening. Since there was no event already taking place, combined with the fact that the 'Baby' singer has sold out the venue three times, officials let him enjoy the building gratis. It's good to the be The Biebs.

TMZ
reports that The Biebs got the idea for the romantic, intimate screening from the film 'Mr. Deeds,' where Adam Sandler does he same for Winona Ryder. Only Sandler's character arranges for the date at the world's most famous arena: Madison Square Garden in New York City.

First, The Biebs and Sel took in the concert of fellow teen sensation Demi Lovato at the Nokia Theater, which is in the same complex as the Staples Center. It's literally a hop, skip and a jump away. Next, The Biebs asked Gomez to take a walk with him and they used an underground route to get to the Staples Center to watch Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet find love aboard a sinking ship.

Can we get an "Awwww!!?"

The Biebs is quite the romantic, isn't he. Gomez is a lucky gal.
