Katy Perry Donates $5,000 to TLC Kickstarter Campaign

Katy Perry is clearly a huge fan of music group, TLC, because she reportedly donated a cool $5,000 to a Kickstarter campaign they created in an attempt to raise money to help them fund the creation of what will be their final album.

News of Katy's donation comes straight from one of the members of TLC. T-Boz took to Twitter to thank her publicly, saying, "A BIG special THANK YOU 2 @katyperry for her pledge to our #Kickstarter Campaign! Your [sic] awesome!"

According to the website, it looks like Katy is eligible for a seriously awesome experience with the group -- a TLC slumber party. Not gonna lie, if we had $5,000 to donate to one of our favorite bands that could possibly guarantee us not only the completion of a final album of theirs but also give us the chance to have a sleepover with them? Consider it done.

The description for the $5,000 donation pack is as follows, "Get ready to stay up late with T-BOZ. We’ll put on our jammies, order some late night snacks, and have some #TLCPillowTalk. Mom and Dad won’t be there, so there’s no need to keep the volume down. Plus, the vinyl, TLC scrapbook, dance school, fanmail, digital album, our list of favorite songs and Kickstarter exclusive remix!"

Talk about awesome! And with over $125,000 already pledged to the campaign, it looks like TLC will most likely meet their Feb. 19 deadline.
