Over the weekend, Katy Perry attended Australia's annual Logie Awards, which were first held in 1959 to honor achievements in the television industry. Usually, stars step out looking as glamorous as possible for the event, but Ms. Perry did quite the opposite.

The 'E.T.' singer represented her newest single well, as she hit the red carpet at the event in a strange green dress. Although Perry is known for her crazy costume choices, her tackiness lacked its usual appeal this time around.

The dress has a naked backside of a statue slapped on the front and sleeves that make the gorgeous singer look like she was channeling a linebacker for the New York Jets. Not to mention that the statue pattern looks like a cheap iron-on graphic you would get printed on a T-shirt at the mall.

Come on, Katy! We know you are fully capable of making good fashion choices. Next time you want to look a little outrageous, bring back those giant angel wings from the Grammys or one of those latex dresses with cotton candy all over of them.

In other Katy Perry news, the singer is out on her international California Dreams tour, where she most recently tantalized the audience in Melbourne, Australia with a cover of Rebecca Black's 'Friday.' She will be back in the states in June for a summer tour with British electro pop star Robyn.
