Watch Katy Perry and Rihanna Perform at 2011 Rock in Rio Music Festival

Besties Katy Perry and Rihanna both brought diva-dom to the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil, courtesy of two scorching, separate (but equal) performances. It was further proof that ladies rule pop music in 2011.

Perry descended onto the stage on a swing in a frilly blue outfit while singing 'Teenage Dream.' It was a princess-like, fairytale explosion on stage, complete with candy-colored costumes and plenty of costume changes. A Perry concert is like the board game Candyland come to life. Perry's back to her signature black, Bettie Page-style, glossy locks and blunt bangs, too. She flirted on stage with some buff Brazilian dudes and even smooched one. Don't worry, hubby Russell Brand won't get jealous. It was Katy being Katy. She certainly can entertain when she takes the stage.

RiRi was equally hot and sexed up on stage! She performed 'Only Girl (In the World)' and her voice carried beautifully. She rocked stripes – a red and white striped tank top and a shredded, asymmetrical black and white striped skirt, looking summery. At one point, she demanded that the crowd "Put your f---ing hands up!" Don'tcha love a sassy girl like RiRi! She is such a good girl gone bad, all the while still being good underneath!

She also performed standing on the back of one of her dancers. All for the sake of art!
