Actress Kristen Stewart is the new face of Chanel.

Stewart, who has repped high end brand Balenciaga, will be the face of the brand's Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection. The actress was in Dallas on Dec. 10 to help unveil the collection, wearing basketball-colored leather trousers and a cranky look on her face. It's a surprising appointment!

Karl Lagerfeld will shoot the campaign, which should released early next year.

Miley Cyrus, who totes Chanel bags as if though it were her job and as though it were she who were the spokeswoman, must be super jealous.
