Lady Gaga has kept her lips sealed, but Elton John officially confirmed what what we all suspected: Gaga is the godmother of his newborn son, Zachary.

Sir Elton appeared on television this past weekend to play host of 'Saturday Night Live,' where the colorful singer gushed over his surrogate-born baby, and joked that he still hasn't shed the baby weight.

John also revealed that another colorful singer -- Miss Gaga -- is baby Zachary's godmother. "For those of you concerned that we are unusual parents, don't worry! It's not like we are the only two people involved in the child's life," John says in his 'SNL' monologue. "His godmother is Lady Gaga. That is true -- that is not a joke," he continues, pausing for the audience's laughter.

"Lady Gaga is his actual godmother, which is ironic, because I've always said that Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids," he says. "And Gaga loves Mars. She says Mars has good schools and great discos."

Gaga, on the other hand, chose to remain quiet when asked about her new role in a recent BBC Radio interview. "I don't really want to reveal anything. They're going to make many lovely announcements about their beautiful son, Zachary," she says, adding, "I'm too much of a lady to talk about that on the air."
