O to the M to the G(aga)! PopCrush predicted 'You & I' would be Lady Gaga's next single (and video) when the singer teased about it via Twitter -- and looks like we were right! The local Channel 6 news station in Nebraska reports that a music video film crew is currently working in the quiet town of Springfield in the Cornhusker state.

Word spread when the crew admitted that that they're filming the video for the song where Gaga sings, "There's something about my cool Nebraska guy" and screams "Nebraska, I love you" repeatedly.

It would stand to reason that the video being shot is most certainly 'You & I,' since Nebraska is a critical and crucial part of the lyrics of the song, which celebrates (and laments) someone that she Gaga once loved from this wholesome, Middle America state.

Gaga lore indicates that the "cool Nebraska guy" she sings about is Nebraska native Luc Carl, the heavy metal drummer said to have broken her heart and rumored to be her on again, off again boyfriend for quite some time now.

While Gaga herself is not seen in the news coverage, local little monsters do show up in full force. According to their reports, they saw members of the Haus of Gaga team, like Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti and creative director Laurieann Gibson.

Apparently, a barn serves as centerpiece of the video, which is in the middle of nowhere ... Err, a cornfield. Also spotted was a piano stationed in the middle of the cornfield, which is sensible given that a piano melody drives the song and Gaga wails on the ivories when she plays 'You & I' in the live setting.

Mama Monster playing the piano in the middle of a cornfield? This video is going to be epic, just like the song. Only Gaga could make Nebraska into a fashionable locale. We predict that somewhere down the road, in the not-too-distant future, the little monsters will make pilgrimages to the state to check out where this video was filmed.
