Louis Tomlinson (Finally) Announces Debut Solo Album and Its Release Date
After sending fans on a scavenger hunt Wednesday (October 23), the former One Direction star officially announced the record (which can be pre-ordered here) and its release date while thanking fans for their patience for the delay via a Twitter video.
Along with the album announcement, the 27-year-old is sharing YouTube videos detailing the making of the record. In the first episode he discusses his solo style, explaining how bands like Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, and Amy Winehouse were played on pop radio when he was growing up. "That was like the cooler side of pop music," he said, "and that's something that I've always wanted to represent, and that feels musically authentic but still has that big pop chorus."
