We've heard of products that are sustainable for the environment, which means they don't deplete resources. But one thing that was not emotionally sustainable? The marriage of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, which broke down earlier this summer.

Anthony will appear on 'Nightline' tonight to offer his side of this much-buzzed about story and in the interview, he reveals that all the infidelity rumors are just that: Fabrications. "I'll tell you that it wasn't something sensationalistic happening," Anthony, 42, said. As for those cheating charges? He said, "absolutely not." Instead, the couple came to a crossroads and realized that it just wasn't working. "It was a realization on both our parts. So you know it wasn't shocking. These things happen," he said. "It was a decision that we made jointly."

Is it us, or does Anthony sound surprisingly okay with the dissolution of his marriage? Well, that's because he is okay with it. "This is not a funeral. This is not a burial," Anthony reasoned. "This is just two people who came together and just realized – and so I'm saying that it wasn't sustainable the way it was, and that's that."

Anthony is holed up in his Long Island home, which he calls "Casa Marc Anthony." Since he's no longer Mr. Jennifer Lopez, maybe? He did say he will always love Lopez. The couple's twins, Max and Emme, are three.

The rest of Anthony's 'Nightline' interview airs tonight on ABC at 11:35PM ET
