Oh no she didn't! On April 29, Miley Cyrus hit the stage in Ecuador on her Gypsy Heart world tour, and the singer decided to take on the 1991 Nirvana classic 'Smells Like Teen Spirit.'

Before her performance started, Cyrus tells the audience, "I have a lot of fans come up and tell me that I inspire them and make them want to follow their dreams. For this tour, I want to be able to do the music that inspired me and made me want to be on this stage tonight."

She also went on to dedicate the song to her brother, saying, "It's hard being on the road because you miss your family back home, and this song is something I always sing with my little brother who can't be with me on tour, so this song is also for him." That's sweet, but what followed was a bit hard on the ears -- and not in a good way.

Although Miley Cyrus has always talked about her appreciation for rock, we really wish she hadn't done this. You have to admit, she is brave for attempting the song; however, her vocals were too strained and forced, and her awkward dancing did not help. What do you think of Cyrus' performance?
