Nicholas Hoult Opens Up About His Relationship With Jennifer Lawrence

What's it like dating America's sweetheart? Nicholas Hoult, 'X-Men' star and boyfriend of Jennifer Lawrence, has given the world some insight.

"The privacy obviously changes but the rest pretty much stays the same," the actor told V Man magazine (via the Huffington Post) of dating Lawrence in the midst of her 'Hunger Games' fame. The two first met while filming 'X-Men: First Class' in 2011, but broke up in January 2013. But by July of that same year, the 'American Hustle' star and Hoult were back on -- and today, they couldn't be happier.

"It’s like that thing whereby you don’t believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don’t get swept away with it," he remarked on how Lawrence manages to stay humble in a thriving career that has garnered her a Best Actress Academy Award and multiple nominations at only 23.

"I think that’s something she’s capable of doing, and that’s what makes her special, " he revealed. "But yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. It is well-deserved for her. I haven’t really seen any change in her."

For what it's worth, neither have we: Lawrence is still the same down-to-earth, goofy yet amazingly talented actress that she always has been.

Hoult also opened up about working with his girlfriend on 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' the latest installment in the franchise.

"It’s fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you’re on set together it’s a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together," he recalled. "Especially with this film, I got to spend time with her."
