Noah Cyrus and Tana Mongeau are sparking dating rumors after the YouTuber referred to the singer as her "girlfriend" in a recently uploaded video titled "i took my girlfriend's phone and flirted with my best friend. prank????"

"sorry Noah. sorry Imari. i'll go back to being crazy by myself :O" she wrote in the video's description. In the clip, she texts her best friend flirty messages using Cyrus' phone while the singer sits next to her to see if he'll reciprocate. When he does, you can hear the girls saying things like he "broke the girl code" and calling him a "homewrecker," further fueling the fire that the girls are in a relationship.

Despite the evidence, Cyrus took to her Instagram story on Wednesday (December 4) to debunk rumors. "Guysssss. we are FRIENDS. relaxxxxxxxxx," she wrote.

Earlier this year, Mongeau tied the knot with fellow YouTube star Jake Paul; however, the 22-year-old revealed they were in an open relationship. In September, he addressed rumors that Cyrus wanted to "hook up" with his wife. "And then Noah and Tana are, like, wanting to hook up and I think Noah's the one pushing that narrative, which I think is dope, again," he said before adding "especially if I could be there."

Before being romantically linked to Paul, Mongeau dated Bella Thorne.
