Fall is finally under way and with it, plenty of fun fashion to play with. Fall is all about lots and lots of layers, as well as jackets, scarves, coats, gloves, hats and more, which provide warmth in addition to dressing up your ensemble. Fall is the most fun time of the year when it comes to dressing since there are so many elements to incorporate into your look. Celebs showcase their personal style in the fall, and it's easy for fans to emulate and take inspiration from them.

Demi Lovato rocked a skully. The hat is such a utilitarian piece. You can toss it on and not worry about your hair -- that's in addition to keeping you warm and not letting warmth escape through the top of your noggin.

Miley Cyrus also tucked her pixie strands under a skully with her album title stitched on the front. It was a fan gift, making it twice as nice, since it was stylish and came from a place of love.

Hoodies are the fashion equivalent of mac 'n' cheese and tomato soup. They are comfort clothes -- cozy and low maintenance. Rihanna is known for stripping down and showing off her boobies and her bum on her Instagram feed, but she covered up in a comfy hoodie here.

A scarf adds instant fall panache to any outfit. All you L.A. and Florida dwellers can "fallify" an outfit by adding a long, loose scarf to, say, skinny jeans, like Kylie Minogue did.

Katy Perry's military-inspired jacket was stylish and kept her warm. She paired it with black pants, a scarf, combat boots and nerdy glasses. She ended up as the epitome of fall chic.

Avril Lavigne paired skinnies and heels with a hoodie, that latter of which is her signature. A hoodie is always amazing since it can be zipped or unzipped, depending on the weather, offering some fashion versatility. Hoodies are great for cool days and crisp, chilly nights.

Taylor Swift didn't just go with a plain ol' hat. She rocked a knit cap, another signpost of fall. While skullies are fun and tomboyish, Swift's topper had a decidedly Euro bend.

Kelly Rowland donned a loose, athletic, pullover hoodie. It was totally casual and reminded us that even pop stars and 'X Factor' judges are indeed human and can dress down when out and about and running errands, without sacrificing the element of cuteness.
