Fourteen years ago, a totally blonde Beverly Hills babe by the name of Elle Woods proved to the world that with a little ingenuity, a perfect GPA, and a killer bikini, that like, anyone could go to Harvard! What, like it's hard?

With its frothy girl-power message, irresistible early 00s fashions (pink, pink, and more pink!), and lovable heroine, 2001's Reese Witherspoon-starring rom-com Legally Blonde became an instant smash hit and cult classic favorite that has endured in the pop culture lexicon for years since.

Many die-hard fans have been begging for a follow-up to 2003's sequel, Legally Blonde: Red, White, and Blonde, and now it seems that Elle Woods herself is campaigning for a sequel, too!

During a interview on her pal Rachel Zoe's talk-show, Fashionably Late With Rachel Zoe, the Oscar-winning actress revealed that she'd be all-systems-go to see what "Elle's been up to," sharing, "Actually, lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it. I actually think it’s kind of great right now, ‘cause we’re talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it would be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court Justice, or someone who runs for office…president? It would be cool! I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately."

While we completely agree, the movie star also clarified that even though she's game, the ball is technically in the studio's court: "I mean, I’m ready—that said, I don’t know. Call MGM! I have no idea."

What do you think? Would a third installment of Legally Blonde make you bend and snap all the way to the movie theater?
