Rihanna brought down the house this weekend when she performed her brand-new track  "American Oxygen" at the 2015 March Madness Festival. Ri-Ri later premiered it exclusively on TIDAL.

First things first: Let's discuss Ri-Ri's epic-as-always debut performance of "American Oxygen," which is obviously our new favorite Rihanna jam. (And considering that it follows "FourFiveSeconds" and "Bitch Better Have My Money," you know that's a tough act to follow.)

Rihanna rocked the patriotism during her performance, donning a red, white and blue ensemble while a screened version of the American flag waved proudly behind her. And of course, Bad Gal Ri-Ri sounded amazing, belting out the soulful ballad with the kind of ease and finesse we've come to expect from the singer. Rihanna may make headlines for her much-lauded fashion sense and that one awesome time that she pranked Jimmy Kimmel, but it's her live performance and her voice that really give the singer some serious credibility. Girl sounds amazing!

While you can enjoy Rihanna's kickass performance in the video above, she also premiered the full thing over on TIDAL. As you may recall, Rihanna was one of the many A-list celebs who supported and helped announce Jay Z's music streaming service. As we reported over the weekend, Beyoncé also dropped a new song via the platform, sharing a video of herself performing her new track "Die With You."
