It's all in the family for the Fentys!

One of Rihanna's cousins wants to emulate her and embark on a pop music career. Wynta Novo, 21, is currently working on her first album and even plans to look to RiRi for advice. Novo, who is now stationed in Atlanta, which is a hotbed of urban music, returned to Barbados recently and even visited with RiRi's dad, Ronald Fenty!

"I've just finished making Rihanna a mix-tape of seven songs and I want to see her personally to give it to her," Novo said, according to The Daily Mail. Novo is tight with RiRi's younger brother Rajad, but has only met the 'Cheers (I'll Drink to That)' singer twice, since she left Barbados so young. The family tree is as follows: Wynta's father Trevor was a first cousin of RiRi's dad, who is now supportive of Wynta's career.

Novo has been rapping and singing since she was knee-high and describes her music as a rap-pop mix, with a Caribbean island flavor. She is also playing with dance music, too, saying she wants people to listen to it in their cars when driving down the highway!

Wynta said at their meeting last year, RiRi commented on her tattoos. They didn't get to chat much, because the famous RiRi was stopping traffic in her homeland.

Wynta also asserted that RiRi is an original and that fellow pop diva Beyonce is copying RiRi's act! "I’m extremely inspired by her. Beyonce is trying to be like Rihanna but Rihanna is just way more edgy and natural -- she doesn’t have to try," Wynta gushed. She is biased. It's her blood!
