Rihanna was honored as one of Time's 100 Most Influential people for 2012, and last night (April 24) at the accompanying gala event, the singer stunned in a bright pink Marchesa dress.

The stunning 'Red Lipstick' songstress, who was nominated for the TIME list by fashion designer Stella McCartney, stepped onto the red carpet at Lincoln Center in New York City wearing the strapless fuschia high-low gown with a pleated bodice. She kept her Skrillex 'do very classy with big curls and sweeping bangs, and her black Louboutin pumps played off of her newly dyed hair.

While at the event, Rihanna discussed her love her comedian Chelsea Handler, but apparently the Bajan beauty gets physical when it comes to showing her affection for peers. When asked who she was excited to see, she said, "Chelsea Handler. And I hope I get to squeeze her bum later." We wonder if Handler really did let Ri get a handful!

Inside the gala, Rihanna paid tribute to one of the most influential artists on her own career, Bob Marley. The vocalist took to the stage to perform a rendition of 'Redemption Song' for the crowd, which included fellow musician Raphael Saadiq, actress/comedian Kristen Wiig, news anchor Matt Lauer, plus many more.
