Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Nearly Starts a Brawl on Day 2 of ‘Jersey Shore’ Season 2 Filming
For Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, old habits die hard — the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast member nearly started a brawl on the Season 2 set of the show in Las Vegas.
Ortiz-Magro, who's had a history of aggressive and violent behavior on and off the show (on the origin Jersey Shore Season 1, he knocked someone out on the street, and more recently had a physical altercation with girlfriend Jen Harley live on social media), got in an argument with a man Wednesday (June 6) at a pool party at The Flamingo. According to TMZ, Ronnie charged the man, who'd been getting mouthy. Both men were eventually restrained by security, though the site adds that it's not clear what started the confrontation (you can watch it all go down here).
Ortiz-Magro's opponent kept "shouting something about Gucci and hustling," TMZ added and MTV cameras saw it all go down.
Ortiz-Magro apologized for his altercation with Harley at the end of April, noting "I want to apologize for earlier to my fans and especially to [Jen]. I acted out of my gut and not rationally. I should've never acted in such a [manner]."
Still, a source told E! News the couple had proceeded to call it quits.
"They are broken up. They're done," the source said. "He apologized for everything and admitted where he had been wrong but he also wants whats best for his daughter and he realizes this is not a healthy environment for her. They have split but for now they are both living in his Las Vegas house. Jen will most likely be moving out."
