Jimmy Fallon wanted it more than anything, and last night, it finally happened: After years of not-so-patiently waiting, the cast of 'Saved by the Bell' reunited and it. was. everything.

While we can barely contain our excitement (much like a certain Jessie Spano), we'll try and calm down enough to set the scene. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley and Dennis Haskins all reprised their roles as Bayside's finest, while the host himself played the gang's new pal, Jimmy Fallon. OMG.

Not only did the actors effortlessly slide back into the roles that made them household names, they all looked amazing. We don't know what's in the water at Bayside High, but we'd certainly like a sip or several. And the way they rocked that boldly patterned, blindingly bright neon '90s apparel? YES.

The skit was filled with plenty of in-jokes (See: Jessie's caffeine pill freakout, Zack Morris' gargantuan cell phone, a casual 'No Hope in Dope' poster on the wall and more), but we loved the subtleties even more, like how Slater kept referring to Jessie as "mama" and called Zack "preppie." It's like it's 1992 all over again in the best possible way.

Of course, two notable absences from the joyful Bayside reunion were Dustin Diamond (Screech) and Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle). While Voorhies has reportedly been suffering from mental illness for quite some time, Diamond was recently arrested for stabbing a man (allegedly in defense of his fiancee). It also appears that both actors are estranged from their former cast mates.
