Selena Gomez Auditions for Commercial on ‘Prankstars’

Selena Gomez has been showing off her funny bone on the Emmy-nominated 'Wizards of Waverly Place' for years, and now the soon-to-be-19-year-old is getting in on the joke in Disney's new 'Punk'd'-like series 'PrankStars.'

In this clip from the show, Gomez is shown auditioning for a local commercial. Mary, an unsuspecting teen and huge fan of the star, is set up by her family to engage with the 'Who Says' singer in the tryouts. The two are tasked with getting to know each other so they can act like best friends for the auditions.

Gomez is poorly disguised in a hat and glasses when she sits down with her partner as "Natalie." The two go back and forth, divulging their favorite things when the look-alike question arises. "I don't know, who do you think I look like?" the Disney star asks Mary.

"Kinda like Selena Gomez, kinda?" she replies. Gomez squishes her face and gives the teen an incredulous look as host Mitchel Musso and Mary's mother and sister look on from the control room. It looks like Gomez has been taking tips from prankster boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Check out the video below to see how the prank panned out! The premiere episode of 'PrankStars,' which also featured Debby Ryan and Musso in his own setup, debuted on July 18 on the Disney Channel.
