Is Selena Gomez Crushing on ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Co-Star David Henrie?

Selena Gomez has long displayed some serious chemistry with her 'Wizards of Waverly Place' co-star David Henrie -- and fans have noticed in a big way. Now that they're both single, is there a shot at a romance between the pair (who, somewhat creepily, used to play brother and sister)?

Maybe ... but not yet.

"They are not dating," a source told Hollywood Life (via Entertainment Wise). "They are just friends, currently."

The source added, "They spent a good portion of their life together and are great friends and they don't want to or have not even thought about ruining it with dating." Still, those close to them won't rule it out, saying, "Well it worked for Mila [Kunis] and Ashton [Kutcher] years after, didn't it?"

Still, don't expect it to happen tomorrow. "Let's just say that it would be a surprise, even to them, if that happened," the insider added. "Strictly platonic ... she is more prone to be the matchmaker for him than the match."

Oh well. If nothing else, that's probably a relief for Jelena shippers who want her to get back together with Justin Bieber, right? Or those who want her to hook up with Taylor Swift's male BFF, Ed Sheeran!
