It's very likely Selena Gomez fans will henceforth leave Dolce & Gabbana garments out of their closets — Selenators have swooped in to defend the pop star after the fashion house's designer Stefano Gabbana called her "so ugly."

Earlier this week, the fashion-centric Instagram blog @TheCatWalkItalia posted a composite of Gomez's most ravishing looks in red. For the most part, response was positive, with followers noting how beautiful the pop star looked.

Then, there was Gabbana's take — he wrote in a comment "È proprio brutta!!!" which translates to "She's so ugly!"

Gomez has so far not responded, but 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman immediately took Gabbana down a peg, according to Us Weekly. Gomez executive produces the Netflix series.

"@stefanobabbana you’re tired and over. your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018,” Dorfman wrote. “it is no longer tolerable or chic. please take many seats.”

And others echoed Dorfman's sentiments.

And it's not the first time — even in recent months — that Gabbana has come under fire for trashing women's looks: he's done the same to Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and even body-shamed Lady Gaga after Gaga's performance at the 2017 Super Bowl with this Instagram image:
