Ew, Selena Gomez’s Mini Horror Film Looks Creepy AF

Selena Gomez may have played a witch on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, but the pop star takes horror to a whole new level in A Love Story, her new short film with longtime collaborator Petra Collins.

In a creepy clip of the film shared on Collins' Instagram, Gomez sits in murky green bathtub. She picks up a wax face mask — or, part of a face — and holds it up against her own as she hums a mysterious tune.

The ethereal photographer and director, who worked on Gomez's "Bad Liar" and "Fetish" videos, also shared some behind-the-scenes snapshots from the set of the film. Two photos in particular — one of a horrific face mask made of melted hands and fingers, and the other of the singer laying still in the bath, staring off into the void — lend a chilling House of Wax meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe.

A Love Story will premiere on IGTV, Instagram's new long-form video platform, in the upcoming weeks. And if you're not already shuddering, well... then you're a bad liar.
