Selena Gomez + Niall Horan Spotted Leaving ‘X Factor’ After-Party

Are Selena Gomez and Niall Horan from One Direction actually dating?

The rumors surrounding the two singers and their heavily speculated relationship continue, now that the pair were spotted together on Sunday evening (December 14) leaving One Direction's after-party in London following their emotional performance of "History" on X Factor UK. The performance marked the last for the band before embarking on their confirmed extended hiatus.

This sighting follows on the heels of another juicy rumor — namely that Gomez and Horan were reportedly spotted making out at Jenna Dewan-Tatum's birthday party in Los Angeles. The following day, fans spotted them hanging out together at the Santa Monica Pier in L.A. enjoying the amusements, riding the roller coaster and testing their skills at various game booths.

Back in late November, Gomez and Horan were also spotted together dining with his One Direction band mates in Malibu.

The truth behind all these sightings seems difficult to pin down, especially given Gomez's statement this past Friday (December 11) where she addressed the rumors in an attempt to set the record straight. In response to ET's questions, Gomez answered with a resounding, "Oh my god! No." How genuine her shock was, though, is questionable. Gomez added that she and Horan are just close friends, stating "I love him, I always have. He's amazing." That's a pretty ringing endorsement of someone Gomez claims she's "just friends" with!

But Gomez seems to enjoy fueling dating rumors: She recently joined her ex Zedd on stage at Z100's Jingle Ball — and of course there was that throwback picture that Justin Bieber posted of the two of them on his Instagram.
