Stars Who Protest Trump’s Immigration Ban: Rihanna, Grimes, Kim Kardashian + More
On Friday, also known as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27), Donald Trump signed an executive order banning refugees and immigrants from seven primarily Muslim counties (Syria, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan and Libya) from entering the U.S.
The order, also known as the "Muslim ban," caused an uproar among citizens—including celebrities—who deemed it to be unconstitutional and inhumane, a sentiment which sparked multiple large-scale protests in airports across the U.S. on Saturday, January 28.
While the order has since been temporarily halted by the federal court for the Eastern District of New York, stars continue to pledge their support—and funds—to protect refugees, immigrants and Muslims.
