Last year, we ran a super-sized competition to determine the greatest pop song in modern history, from the ’80s to today. Now, we’re back — and this time, it’s all about honoring the best and boldest in music videos.

Taylor Swift made the seamless transition from country-leaning pop act to straight-up pop superstar with the release of her massively successful album 1989. She followed that up with a number of music videos, but the visual for "Blank Space" proved to be the most compelling. Swift successfully poked fun at the media-assigned image of her as a relationship obsessed psycho, and she looked stellar doing it -- stabbing motions, golf club pummeling, implied murder and all.

Rihanna may never drop her eighth studio album Anti but we'll always have her past work to reflect on, and the music video for "We Found Love" is a good place to start. With its intense visuals depicting a whirlwind (and, let's be real, toxic) relationship, the video reflects the chaotic sound of the track itself. And with all its dramatics (that voiceover! Rihanna vomiting streamers! Surprise tattoos!), the video immediately appealed to the Tumblr subset of Rihanna fans and the rest of the world quickly caught up.

We've presented the videos, now the choice is yours. Be sure to vote for Taylor Swift or Rihanna in the poll below. You can vote once per hour until the poll closes on December 2 at 5PM EST. Get to it!
