Taylor Swift Hikes Backwards to Avoid Paparazzi

There are so many upsides to fame. Student loans aren't a concept you fully understand, your pool of dating applicants is significantly larger and more attractive and you can afford things like cable and Internet, simultaneously. But while so many of us focus on the benefits that come along with fame and fortune, it's all too easy to forget that there are downsides, too. Taylor Swift recently explained a photo on Tumblr that helped us remember that fame isn't always a walk in the park -- sometimes it's a backwards hike in the hills to avoid the paparazzi.

Fans found a photo of Taylor that shows her facing a guy who's pointing his hand right at her, almost accusingly. We are body language experts and it's safe to say that Taylor's body language appears aggressive, while the guy looks like he's about to charge at her. Weird, right? Well, a fan thought so too and posted the photo on Tumblr along with the question, "Taylor wtf is happening here I'm confused."

Because Taylor takes every opportunity possible to interact with her fans -- be it at shows, on the street or on the Internet -- she responded to the post, informing everyone that she was avoiding being photographed by some paparazzi she saw lurking in the trees. She wrote, "I saw the guy with the camera and wasn't in the mood so I hiked the whole trail backwards and my security told me when to make turns. Ah, the tranquility of the great outdoo- TAYLORCANYOULOOKOVERHEREGIVEUSASMILEAREYOUDATI"

Taylor must trust her security team immensely, because if we tried something like that there is zero doubt in our minds that we would trip over a rock, tumble over the side and fall to our deaths. So kudos to Taylor and all those trust exercises she must do with the people she surrounds herself with.
