While most brides-to-be fear cold feet when the big day finally comes, it was the potential for potty mouth that had Tig Notaro concerned this weekend.

On Saturday (October 24), the famously-honest comedian wed Stephanie Allynne, whom she met filming 2013's In a World. The couple got engaged last New Year's Eve, and when the time finally came to tie the knot (in Tig's hometown of Pass Christian, Mississippi, according to Us Weekly), Notaro joked about what she hoped wouldn't come out of her mouth.

"I'm getting married today. My only fear is that instead of 'I do' I'll say 'I do do'" she tweeted. And, when the vows had been exchanged, she breathed a sigh of relief that she'd no longer have to keep up appearances.

"Wedding night sex is better than regular sex cause you finally have an excuse to not have it," she added.

Earlier this year, Netflix documentary Tig explored Notaro's relationship with Allynne amid the comedian's extensive cancer-battle. Allynne, who had only ever previously dated men, was reticent to extend the couple's bond into any sort of romantic territory. But after a temporary breakup (Tig gave her crush a relationship ultimatum), Allynne was forced to consider her life without the Tig, and decided, instead, to cast her doubts aside and go all in.

"I know if I don't say yes to this in my life, then I am not following my feelings and my heart," Allynne said in the film.

Tig ended with the couple moving in together, and planning for a family. Congratulations to the happy couple!
