Tori Spelling Hopes for a Playdate Between Her and Elton John’s Children

This past weekend, '90210' star Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, had the privilege of meeting Elton John and his partner, David Furnish, at the singer's Oscar after-party which he holds annually to raise money for his AIDS foundation. All proceeds from ticket sales to the annual party and a special auction went directly to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Like anyone in her shoes would do, Spelling wasted no time taking to her Twitter page to gush about the experience. "O-M-G! Sir Elton John just came over 2 R table & talked 2 me! WOW. I congratulated him & David on [their son]. Is it wrong 2 hope 4 a playdate?" Spelling tweeted to her followers.

McDermott, also riding high from the experience, took to his own Twitter page, writing: "OMG. Just met Sir Elton John. Such a nice guy. He leaned on my shoulder to talk to T. That's one for the history books." Later, McDermott tweeted a photo of the two couples together, writing: "WOW ... I mean. Once in a lifetime moment."

No word yet on whether John's two-month-old son, Zachary, has plans to play with Spelling's two children, Liam (who turns four on March 13) and Stella (who turns three in June), but we at PopCrush will keep you updated on the latest!
