You know what would be great to see in the video for Usher's new single 'More?'  More Usher.  The song, which appears on the deluxe editions of both his album 'Raymond v. Raymond' album and the 'Versus' EP is pretty cool, it would just be nice to see Usher doing what we all know he's capable of in the clip.

See, you only sell sizzle if you don't have steak, but Usher doesn't need to rely on any sort of trickery, everyone agrees he's one of the best dancers around. Remember when he did that reverse moonwalk/duck-walk combination thing, but only after setting his necklace twirling around his torso, perfectly perpendicular to his body on that awards show a few years back? Coolest thing since MJ did 'Billie Jean' on live TV...

So, it makes no sense that instead of focusing on Usher in action, this video keeps showing all sorts of quick-cut scenes of people around him dancing, or of our hero seemingly caught between dance moves. Would you want to watch clips of Eddie Van Halen about to play guitar? Or of Lindsay Lohan about to steal jewelry?

It IS abundantly clear from this video that Usher's concerts are a fantastic spectacle, and maybe they were trying to build a sense of excitement without giving any new moves away, but, really, next time let's see a little (yeah we'll say it) 'More' of what Usher can do next time out, OK?
