Comedian Wanda Sykes was booed for sharing her views on president elect Donald Trump during a standup event at Boston, MA's TD Garden on Saturday night (November 12). And, though she finished her set amid the negative response, Sykes flipped off the crowd and told, them, "F--- you."

Sykes was performing at the 22nd annual Comics Come Home fundraiser benefitting the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care (the comedian is herself a breast cancer survivor). She told the crowd that Trump wasn't the first "racist, sexist homophobic president," he was "just the first confirmed one." Trump made headlines this weekend for appointing Steve Bannon, chairman of "alt right" news site Breitbart News, as his chief strategist and senior counsel. Under Bannon, Breitbart published stories with headlines including "Why Equality and Diversity Departments Should Only Hire Rich, Straight White Men" and "Birth Control Makes Women Unattractive and Crazy."

As audience members started voicing their dissent at Syke's remarks, she replied, "F--- you, motherf---er, f--- all of y'all."

"How can you say he’s not racist?" she asked. "'Grab them by the pussy'? How can you say he’s not sexist? How can you say he’s not homophobic?"

The Boston Herald reports that though other comedians, including Denis Leary, criticized Ku Klux Klan-endorsed president elect Trump at the event, openly-gay comedian Sykes seemed to get the loudest negative response from the Boston audience. Leary reportedly defended Sykes when she left the stage.
