RSVPs are not proving to be Zayn Malik's strong suit.

The former One Direction member, who released his debut solo single "Pillowtalk" on January 29, has pulled out of a scheduled appearance on Greg James' Radio 1 talk show, according to The Daily Record. The news comes about a week after Malik pulled out of a scheduled appearance on The Graham Norton Show, time which a spokesman said Malik needed to continue recording his debut album.

The Record reports that hundreds of Malik's fans had already lined up outside of the Radio 1 studio when they got last-minute word that the singer would be a no-show. The broadcast eventually aired a tribute to Irish radio and TV broadcaster Terry Wogan, who died in January after a short battle with cancer, instead of the planned interview with Malik.

Now, according to a press release, Malik will make his official TV debut as a solo artist on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show on February 17, which will include a performance.

Mind of Mine, Malik's debut album, will go on sale on March 25. "Pillowtalk" is available now on iTunes in its original form and, as of this morning (February 4), an acoustic, falsetto-heavy alternative called "The living room session."
