Best Dressed at 2014 MTV Movie Awards [PHOTOS]
The MTV Movie Awards are always way more casual than the Oscars or the Golden Globes, in terms of red carpet attire, but the celebs still take the time to show off their stylin' sides on a loose, more street level. The 2014 edition of the annual ceremony (which aired on April 13) was no different.
Some celebs went for short and sexy --we're talking Shailene Woodley and Jessica Alba -- while others went with gown lengths, but still showed off sex appeal with details, like super low-cut bodices. Hi, Rita Ora.
Pockets were also in.
Shailene Woodley's olive green, leather Balmain ensemble was incredibly edgy and unforgettable, thanks to the knotted top and the gladiator-style, pleated skirt, which showed just a touch of skin. The color and fabric made her stand out.

Model Chrissy Teigen aka Mrs. John Legend, was princess-like in her short, flirty, strapless dress in the palest pink hue.

Three or four years ago, the thought of Snooki on a Best Dressed list may have been unfathomable. But the reality star has grown up, ditched the bouffant and is expecting her second child. She was lovely in her black and red rose frock. It was appropriate, and so flattering and chic. Nice work, Snooks!

Singer Ellie Goulding was warm weather-ready in a crisp white Armani dress with pockets. It was super unique and showed off just a hint of skin, reminding us that it's not always what you show but what you don't show that is hot!

Jessica Alba was a hot mama in her white bandeau top and full, high-waisted, lemon-lime skirt. She was so spring-like and fresh, and the proportion of the skirt was a lovely contrast to the sexy top.

Rita Ora and her sideboob were mega sexy, since the bodice of her Barbara Casasola dress dipped dangerously low. Ora went the dressy route, and the result was "bombshell." Her shiny frock also had pockets, perfect for storing lipstick or an iPhone.

Nicki Minaj showed off her major curves in her clingy Alexander McQueen dress, accessorized with gold bling. It looked as though she was sewn into the dress. which she paired with her dark hair and winged eyeliner. Her Minajesty was much more toned down than we're used to, but we liked it. Notice the pattern on the side of her dress, which was a subtle touch.

Victoria Justice had a wow moment in her pink, spring-ready Atelier Versace mini with lacing and braiding detail. Her accessories were spot on.

Bella Thorne's ice blue, ruched, one-sleeved Versace mini was so chic and popped against her red hair and porcelain skin. Like many of the evening's dresses, it showed just a hint of skin. Thorne is like Jessica Chastain -- a ginger with an amazing sense of style.

Lupita Nyong'o emerged as a serious style star during her Oscar campaign, and she was back on the red carpet, this time with a more casual but just as stunning, color-splashed and striped mini. It was busy but incredibly high fashion, and she wore it, instead of it wearing her. The best thing about it? Those blue pumps.
