Adam Levine Shaves His Head

Adam Levine has a buzz.

No, not that kind of buzz. Instead of alcohol-induced euphoria, Levine is rocking a brand-new, super short cut.

He debuted the new look in Los Angeles earlier this week and it's perfect for keeping cool as the weather heats up this spring. The singer and 'The Voice' coach, who is reportedly in the running for a role on 'American Horror Story,' buzzed his normally spiky black hair, cropping it close to the skull. Levine is a stylish rock dude, and his hair was definitely a part of that look, so it was a bit jarring to see him with a buzz cut.

Even so, he still looks amazing, tats and all. We're sure his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Anne V is happy with his new coif, or lack thereof. But what really matters is how his pal Blake Shelton, with whom he discussed his "bromance" on the latest issue of PEOPLE, feels about the newly shorned star. Shelton has a similar great head of hair. What's next, Levine's country buddy going close cropped in a show of solidarity? We wouldn't put it past 'em.
