New ‘Begin Again’ Trailer Features Adam Levine Song, ‘Lost Stars’ [VIDEO]

The new movie trailer for 'Begin Again' has been released, and it features a brand new Adam Levine song titled 'Lost Stars' off the film's soundtrack. Levine both stars and contributes music to this independent dramedy.

'Begin Again' stars Levine, Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld. The Weinstein Company, the studio releasing the movie, describes the project as a story about "when lost souls meet and make beautiful music together." The movie is directed by 'Once' helmer John Carney.

Knightley and Levine play Gretta and Dave, two long-time college sweethearts and songwriting partners who find their relationship tested when Dave discovers new fame as an artist in New York City. Dan (Ruffalo), a down on his luck record label executive, discovers Gretta and tries to find redemption by making her into a star.

The film will be released in theaters everywhere July 2.
