Big Sean and Ariana Grande have been coy about revealing the nature of their relationship ever since they were spotted holding hands at the MTV Video Music Awards. In a new interview with Ryan Seacrest, Big Sean continued to dance around the question although he did admit to Seacrest that Grande is "special" to him.

"I like to keep my personal life personal. You know what I’m saying?” the rapper said in response to the dating question. “But I am going to tell you this: That Ariana is very, very special. She’s very special to me. Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I’m just going to leave it at that."

Big Sean also didn't go into specifics when asked if his new track, 'IDFWY,' and its harsh lyrics were directed at his ex-fiance, former 'Glee' star Naya Rivera.  On the song, Sean raps, “I heard you got a new man / I see you takin’ a pic / then you post it up / thinkin’ that it’s makin’ me sick," which fans found suspect after Rivera married Ryan Dorsey just three months after the engagement ended.

“I was just honestly putting myself in a perspective, man,” he admitted. “As an artist, you just have to do that sometimes. It’s funny how records, sometimes they relate to you more later on, sometimes they don’t. Obviously it kind of fits my situation."
